Under the project "Building structures for intercultural integration in Cyprus", five Mayors and Deputy Mayors participated in a study visit to the Intercultural Cities of Barcelona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Spain) on 15-16 March 2023.

With cities often at the forefront of responding to the challenges of integrating refugees and migrants, four major international organisations together with the Union of Polish Metropolises launched the Academy on the Integration of Migrants and Refugees in Polish Cities.

Aiming at combating discrimination and protecting human rights and equality, the Community Center-Roma Unit (CC-RU) of the Municipality of Patras (Greece) continues the successful implementation of customized literacy actions for Roma women, so that to strengthen the process of their social integration.

The Living Charter for Intercultural Modena has been presented to the Mayor and the City Council on 14 March 2023. It was developed through a participatory process which started in July 2022 and included more than 20 associations. It is a reference tool for the implementation of the three principles of “Intercultural Modena”.

Two major events will mark the cultural life of Neuchâtel this spring: the 28th Neuchâtel Action Week against Racism and the 5th edition of the Neuchâtel Cultural Spring.
