To import a user from information contained in an input file:

1. Determine what type of authentication the repository uses. If the server authenticates users against the operating system, each user must have an account on the server host before you create the users.

2. Create the input file. See Input file for new users.

3. In Webtop, do these:

   1. Navigate to Administration / User Management / Users.

   2. Click File > Import User.

   3. In the Input File Path field, click Browse, and select the location of the input file for creating the new users.

   4. As appropriate, enter additional values that apply to all the users you are importing. Values specified in the input file override values specified on this page. For an explanation of user properties, see User properties.

   5. Click Finish.
