The system administrator must configure the global registry, repository, and application server correctly to use queue management.
Queue management requires the following environment:
Content Server 6.0 or later, and a repository designated as a global registry.
Content Server 6.0 or later, and a repository that is designated to run queue management.
DFC 6.0 or later on the application server host where Webtop is deployed with connection information for the global registry repository.
Webtop 6.0 or later.
BPM.dar and Form.dar 6.0/6.0 SP1 or Process Engine 6.5 or later.
A single repository can run queue management and be designated as a global registry. However, this configuration is not mandatory. Alternatively, two separate repositories can also run queue management and be designated as global registries. Ensure that Process Engine is installed in the repository running queue management and in the repository designated as a global registry.
To install queue management:
Designate a repository as a business objects framework global registry.
Ensure that the repository is designated while creating a repository or upgrading an existing repository. For instructions about configuring the repository, see the Documentum Server Installation Guide.
Record the repository login credentials for the global registry user.
When DFC is installed as part of the Webtop deployment process, provide the login credentials for the global registry user in the dfc.properties file.
Install BPM.dar and Form.dar 6.0/6.0 SP1 or Process Engine 6.5 or later in the global registry repository.
The SBOs and TBOs required for queue management are installed.
