The EYF team is assessing the applications for International activities and annual work plans for 2020 received at the 1st
April deadline. Decisions on these will be taken by the Programming Committee on Youth (CPJ) on 6-7 June 2019. The committee will also adopt the youth sector’s draft programme/budget for 2020 and select study sessions taking place in co-operation with the European Youth Centres in 2020.
The Council of Europe has introduced a new Junior Professional Programme, aiming at recruiting young graduates; a vacancy notice for Junior Youth Project Officers at the European Youth Foundation was published and 684 applications received.
One of the criteria for an EYF-supported activity is that it is based on a non-formal education approach. The EYF website has a dedicated page about Non-Formal Education (NFE), which includes the EYF approach and how it understands NFE, as well as useful resources prepared by supported NGOs or by the Council of Europe.
