#JusticeForAll campaign launched in Georgia

The European Union and the Council of Europe launched the online campaign #JusticeForAll aiming at raising awareness of the existing issues faced by vulnerable groups in accessing justice in the country.

Regional launch in Eastern Partnership countries of HELP online course on Access to Justice for Women

Legal training institutes for judges and prosecutors from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, came together with legal practitioners, non-governmental organisations and international organisations for the regional launch of this Council of Europe Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) course.

Armenia

Judges and prosecutors take Council of Europe online training course aiming at enhancing their ability to work on cases related to hate speach and its manifestations.
The report "Discrimination on the Ground of Disability in Armenia", carried out by UNISON NGO through our regional project on anti-discrimination, calls for reforms and measures to further protect people with disabilities against discrimination.

Azerbaijan

Raising awareness of violence against women under Article 13 was the theme of our second webinar held in June aiming at explaining the measures countries should take under this Article once they join the Istanbul Convention.

Republic of Moldova

In order to consolidate the capacity of Equality Council staff on constructing decisions for cases of discrimination, we have organised online workshops consisting of structural tips, persuasion techniques and methodological advice.
A round table to discuss the application of a comprehensive approach to combating hate speech, in particular during electoral periods, was organised in co-operation with the Central Electoral Commission, the Audiovisual Council and the Centre for Continuous Electoral Training of the country.

Ukrainian Security Service better equipped to fight terrorist financing

A complex online training course on terrorist financing detection, disruption and investigation was delivered to practitioners of the Security Service of Ukraine, including operatives and investigators, as well as representatives of training institutions. Moreover, with a view to ensuring comprehensive and sustainable effects for the dissemination of new knowledge and skills, delegates from the National School of Judges and the State Financial Monitoring Service were also engaged.

Quick Response Mechanism

Three Venice Commission opinions were prepared under the Quick Response Mechanism (QRM) in the framework of the Partnership for Good Governance II.
