Second study visit on Council of Europe conventions for Kyrgyz delegation

Fourteen representatives of the public institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic received first-hand information from the Secretariat of the Council of Europe on Council of Europe Conventions of their interest. The study visit aimed to contribute to the creation of a common legal space between Europe and Kyrgyzstan, based on European and international standards.

Promoting transparency and action against economic crime

Central Asia


  • Exchange of experience with Central Asian countries on possible abuses of virtual assets 
    The workshop brought together more than 50 representatives from ministries, financial intelligence units, central banks, prosecutors' offices, anti-corruption agencies and other institutions from 12 jurisdictions including from Central Asia. It aimed at increasing practical knowledge and awareness of the potential misuse of virtual assets for illicit activities.
