The event was organized in the framework of the German Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and brought together 182 participants from all over the country representing various sectors: public institutions, civil society, social workers, multidisciplinary teams, police, prosecutors, judges, academia, students, etc. In the last three weeks, 14 videos with the voices of authorities, decision makers, legal practitioners, experts from civil society, the private sector, the media, social media influencers, art and sport celebrities were disseminated on social media. Digital and animated brochures and infographics with the myths and facts of the Convention and how the system of assistance to victims of violence against women and domestic violence will need to be improved in the Republic of Moldova after the ratification of the Convention were published on the “10 years of the Istanbul Convention” dedicated web page and disseminated to all national stakeholders and partners involved in the national campaign. We take this occasion to thank all participants in the event, speakers, and interested parties who joined in to mark this important anniversary.
