Action
The Deputies are invited to take note of the report of the Chairman of their Rapporteur Group GR-EDS concerning the meeting held on 12 January 2001 and to adopt the appended draft decisions.

a. Activities for the development and consolidation of democratic stability

 

At its meeting on 12 January 2001, the GR-EDS (see synopsis of the meeting, document GR‑EDS(2001)CB1) dealt with:

 

-           the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia;

-           Armenia and Azerbaijan (see also item 1.5 of the present meeting's agenda);

-           Belarus and

-           Albania.

 

 

b. Other questions

Decisions

 

The Deputies

 

1. took note of the report of the Chairman of the Rapporteur Group GR-EDS, in the light of the synopsis of its meeting on 12 January 2001 (GR-EDS(2001)CB1);

 

2. endorsed the mandate of the Secretariat Office in Belgrade (to be annexed to the future exchange of letters between the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and the Secretary General of the OSCE concerning the cooperation between the two Organisations in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia).
