- Mr Andriy YURASH (Ukraine): confirmation of hosting a thematic visit on challenges and best practices in implementing national Roma inclusion strategies (including measures for solving personal identification documents and for improving access to social services) to be held in early 2017. Information about possible dates, venue and agenda. Confirmation from interested partner countries (Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia and “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”).
- Ms Christa ACHLEITNER (Austria) and Mr Dieter HALWACHS (Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages): information about the agenda of the thematic visit on the protection, preservation and teaching of languages spoken by Roma, Sinti and Yenish (including ways to handle the opposition of traditional communities to have their language written and taught) to be held in Graz on 29-31 March 2016 with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Poland, Slovenia and Switzerland as partner countries.
- Ms Gražina SLUSHKO (Lithuania): confirmation of hosting a thematic visit on Roma mediation and its institutionalisation (with a focus on Roma school mediators and assistants) to be held in Spring 2017. Information about possible dates, venue and agenda. Confirmation of interested partner countries (Latvia, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Portugal and “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”).
- Ms Irakli KOKAIA (Georgia): confirmation of hosting a thematic visit on the situation and challenges of eastern Roma groups (Roma from Anatolia and Caucasus, Dom/Garachi/Karachi, Lom/Bosha/Posha and Abdal) to be held in 2017. Information about possible dates, venue and agenda. Confirmation of interested partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russian Federation and Turkey).
- Ms Zeynep HAN AKIN (Turkey): confirmation of hosting a thematic visit on Roma access to employment (with a focus on Roma women and youth) to be held in the autumn 2017. Information about possible dates, venue and agenda. Confirmation of interested partner countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Poland, Spain and “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”).
- Discussion on additional proposed themes identified at the last plenary meeting:
o Remembrance and teaching of Roma history proposed by the Republic of Moldova;
o Practices on Roma integration policies and coordination in countries with a small Roma population proposed by Latvia;
o Impact of traditions and culture in Roma policy development and implementation proposed by Poland and supported by Slovenia;
o Education proposed by Greece with a focus on how to motivate Roma children to learn, including through digital education proposed by the Republic of Moldova;

- Mr Martin MARTINEK (Czech Republic): information about the 13th CAHROM meeting to be hosted by the Czech chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Prague in May 2017, including about any field visit.
- Proposals by the Committee and decisions on topics to be included in the agenda of the next plenary meeting, as well as possible ad hoc speakers to be invited.
- Ms Eleni KALLINIKOU (Greece): confirmation of Greece’s proposal to host a CAHROM plenary meeting in 2018, pending approval by the Committee of Ministers of CAHROM Terms of Reference for 2018-2019.
- Any proposals from CAHROM members for hosting a CAHROM meeting in 2019.

[1] The term “Roma and Travellers” is used at the Council of Europe to encompass the wide diversity of the groups covered by the work of the Council of Europe in this field: on the one hand a) Roma, Sinti/Manush, Calé, Kaale, Romanichals, Boyash/Rudari; b) Balkan Egyptians (Egyptians and Ashkali); c) Eastern groups (Dom, Lom and Abdal); and, on the other hand, groups such as Travellers, Yenish, and the populations designated under the administrative term “Gens du voyage”, as well as persons who identify themselves as Gypsies.

[5] Participants are requested to bring along a valid ID/passport,to enter the building, as well as register and complete reimbursement formalities before the start of the plenary meeting. They are also invited to submit written information to the Secretariat prior to the meeting, as well as to bring along paper copies of their intervention for the interpreters.
[6] This side event is organised by Ms Marta GARCIA-FIDALGO from the European Commission (DG NEAR) and restricted to representatives of the following EU accession countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” and Turkey, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe, European Commission, FRA, UNDP and RCC. The working language will be English. The agenda will be circulated separately by the European Commission (DG NEAR).
