RESOLUTION (50) 35 (5 August 1950) - Establishment of the Secretariat-General

The Committee of Ministers,

Having regard to Article 11 of the Administrative Regulations, Staff Rules;

Having regard to the Note by the Secretary-General CM(50)39 on the subject

of an increase in the permanent staff;

Considering that, to ensure the efficient operation of the Secretariat, it will

be necessary to increase the permanent staff of the Secretariat-General in

the course of the year 1950;

Resolves:

"The permanent staff of the Secretariat-General of the Council of Europe may

be increased during the year 1950 by the creation of the following posts:

          Counsellor

          Secretary

          Supervisors

          Assistants

          Auxiliary."

The Committee of Ministers decided that in future all proposals for increasing

the permanent staff of the Secretariat-General should be submitted beforehand

to the Budget Committee.
