DRAFT DECISIONS

The Deputies, in their composition restricted to the representatives of the States members of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the European Support Fund for the Co-production and Distribution of Creative Cinematographic and Audiovisual Works “Eurimages”,[2]

Having regard to the Statutory Resolution on partial and enlarged agreements Res(93)28;

Having regard to Resolution Res(88)15 of 26 October 1988 setting up a European Support Fund for the Co-production and Distribution of Creative Cinematographic and Audiovisual Works “Eurimages”, subsequently amended by Resolution CM/Res(2020)8;

Having regard to the decisions on the amount of obligatory contributions and on the scale of contributions for 2024 approved by the Board of Management of Eurimages at its meeting on 29 and 30 June 2023;

Having regard to Resolution CM/Res(2023)31 which approved the budget for Eurimages for 2024;

Having regard to the agreement of the Board of Management of Eurimages, adopted at its 2nd ordinary meeting of 2023 (4-5 December 2023), on the principle of the partial or full payment of Ukraine’s obligatory contributions for 2024 by other member States on a voluntary basis;

Having consulted the member State concerned,

1.         approved on an exceptional basis, as a consequence of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, that the principle of the partial or full payment of Ukraine’s obligatory contributions for 2022-2023 to the budget of Eurimages by other member States on a voluntary basis be extended for 2024;

2.         invited the Eurimages Board of Management to continue to ensure that the Ukrainian participation in Eurimages’ activities is not in any way undermined by the application of Article 13.1 of Eurimages’ Financial Regulations as a result of the preceding decision.
