Prolongation of the retiring age in respect of a staff member of the Council of Europe

The Committee of Ministers,

Having regard to Resolution (57) 15, amending Article 22 of the Staff Regulations;

On the proposal of the Secretary-General and subject to the results of the work

of the Consultative Committee on a European Civil Service;

Considering that the services rendered by M. Giovanni Costa justify application

of the provisions of the Article referred to above,

Agrees to the extension of M. Costa's service until 31st July 1961 and authorises

the Secretary-General to arrange for M. Costa to assume the undertaking provided

for in the new Article 22 of the Staff Regulations.
