At its meeting on 20 November 2008, the GR-C examined the draft Recommendation CM/Rec(2008)… of the Committee of Ministers to member states on the dimension of religious and non-religious convictions within intercultural education and its Explanatory Memorandum. The Group made certain amendments to the text and agreed to hold a written consultation on the revised text (see document CM(2008)166-rev). Delegations were invited to submit any additional amendments by Friday 5 December 2008. Additional amendments proposed are set out in document CM(2008)166-rev2. The Deputies may wish to consider the draft recommendation as revised, with a view to its adoption, while bearing in mind that if the additional amendments proposed need more discussion, the GR-C could resume consideration thereof at its meeting in January 2009.

The deputies adopted Recommendation CM/Rec(2008)… of the Committee of Ministers to member states on the dimension of religious and non-religious convictions within intercultural education, as it appears at Appendix … to the present volume of Decisions < see document CM(2008)166-rev2 > and took note of the Explanatory Memorandum, as it appears in document CM(2008)166-add.
