Honorable Ms. General State Advocate,

In reply of your letter no. 1852/42 prot. dated 30 October 2012, we forward the information referred to the “Crosscutting Strategy in the Field of Property Rights”.

Referring to point 5, page 28 of the strategy, MIICT has so far realized these concrete steps:

1.      Approval by the Albanian Government with decision no. 144, dated 22 December 2012 of the Document on Policies “For the creation of the Nation Infrastructure of Geospatial Data”

2.      Approval by the National Assembly of Law 72/2012 “For the organization and functioning of the National Infrastructure of Geospatial Information in the Republic of Albania”

3.      Approval by the Albanian Government with decision no. 147, dated 20 February 2013, of the Regulations “On the organization and functioning of the State Authority for the Geospatial Information”.

4.      Approval by the Albanian Government of decision no. 413, dated 15 May 2013, “For the relocation of the employees and budgetary funds for the year 2013, between the Military Institute of Geography and the State Authority for the Geospatial Information”.

5.      The Draft Order of the Prime Minister “For the approval of the Structure and Organics of the State Authority for the Geospatial Information” is in the process of approval.

6.      The Draft Decision “For the determination, realization and maintenance of the Albanian Geodesic Referral Frame” is in the process of approval.
