CONCERNING THE PARTIAL AGREEMENT ON THE CO-OPERATION GROUP
FOR THE PREVENTION OF, PROTECTION AGAINST, AND ORGANISATION
OF RELIEF IN MAJOR NATURAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL DISASTERS
1999 BUDGET

The Committee of Ministers, under the terms of Article 16 of the Statute of the Council of Europe and with membership restricted to the Representatives of the States of the Council of Europe which are members of the Co-operation Group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters footnote 1 ,
HAVING REGARD to Resolution (87) 2 of 20 March 1987 setting up a Co-operation Group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters;
HAVING REGARD to Articles 19, 21 and 28 of the Financial Regulations;
HAVING REGARD to Resolution (98) 59 of 11 December 1998 fixing the scale of contributions of member States to the Partial Agreement on the Co-operation Group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters;
HAVING REGARD to the draft budget for 1999 submitted by the Secretary General (document CM(98)147, Vol. II, Part 8);
HAVING REGARD to the Budget Committee's reports of 27 October 1998 (document CM(98)148) and of 2 December 1998 (document CM(98)149),
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. The budget of expenditure for 1999 , totalling 9 723 000 F and divided into heads and sub-heads according to Table A appended hereto and the budget of receipts totalling 9 723 000 F according to Table B appended hereto are hereby approved.
2. Approval is hereby given to the apportionment, among the States which are members of the Partial Agreement on the Co-operation Group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters, of the contributions for 1999, totalling 9 723 000 F according to Table C appended hereto.
1 States concerned: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Portugal, the Russian Federation, Republic of San Marino, Spain, "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia", Turkey and Ukraine.
