Format: The purpose of the Open e-Notary Day is to promote the eNotaras (e-Notary) electronic system, commissioned and funded by the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries. The system’s Phase One is currently being tested by dozens of Lithuanian notarial offices. The System has a front-end for notaries’ clients, the so called Client Portal. Upon secure authorization and login, clients may access information about notarial offices and transactions, order notarial services, exchange secure correspondence and documents with selected offices, get 24/7 information updates about the status of their notarial services. The Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries by means of public relations tools will invite clients to start accounts on the e-Notary system. During the day, the Chamber will hold online discussions and Q&A about the use of the e-Notary system and its benefits.
