Legal Consultations in Courts of Lithuania

In order to remind people about alternative dispute resolution methods for the second time in Lithuania during the European Day of Justice the whole day on 25th October, 2017 Lithuanian courts will answer casual legal questions of persons and tell more about their activities.
The last year's experience shows that the legal counselling in court really exciting and is the great help to the people of the country to solve their problems without going to court and try other alternative dispute resolution means, which are cheaper. When people get the right advice promptly, they settle disagreements more quickly and easily.
The 60 Lithuanian courtswill open wide their doors. The lawyers of the State Guaranteed Legal Aid Service, representatives of Lithuanian Bar Association and of the Chamber of Bailiffs will consult the population and will ensure the quality of responses. The staff of the courts will also provide assistance.
No pre-registration required: consultations will be provided on the principle of live row. People are welcome from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in courts. Information in which room or hall consultations shall take place is given in the court office.
